Downtown St Louis Marriott Grand Wedding

Alex and Jackie’s downtown St Louis wedding was a highlight of our year! The bride was from Chicago and the groom was from here in Kansas City, but their wedding was in St Louis. Their wedding ceremony and reception were held in a downtown hotel. The ceremony area was so elegant; there were huge windows and pillars, as well as natural light and beautiful views of the city. So many friends came to party with Alex and Jackie, so there was lots of excitement and energy, especially on the dance floor. There were some emotional moments, too. When Alex and Jackie danced together, you could just see how much they loved each other.

Celebrating the Spontaneous Couple

Would you believe me if I told you that this couple planned their wedding in a MONTH? It sounds crazy, but it’s true! The bride didn’t even pick out her wedding dress. These two are incredibly fun and spontaneous and it was a joy capturing their wedding day. Alex and Jackie are so expressive of their love and they were willing to have fun in front of the camera.

Our Favorite Moments

The introduction to this film was hands-down our favorite part. We love creating transitions that showcase the energy of the wedding day, and we were able to do just that. The flow of this film makes it one of our favorites. We captured some beautiful views of the city that really stand out in the film. But we especially love the shots of Alex and Jackie running through the downtown streets. This couple’s energy and excitement was so fun and effortless to capture!
